The Tucson Police Officer’s Association is proud to announce the 2012 KIDS AND COPS CHRISTMAS EVENT! This Event will take place on Saturday, December 15, 2012 and will provide underprivileged children from the Tucson community with the opportunity to shop with officers at a local Target store.

Each child will be given $100.00 to spend, and the goal of the Event is to give children a chance to spend positive, personal time with a police officer, while assisting them in getting much-needed items for the winter and the holidays. In past years, we have found that these children do not just shop for toys, but for clothing, jackets and other much-needed personal items.

We are asking for your support during these difficult economic times, as we would like to reach as many children as possible. 100% of the proceeds donated will go to the Event, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Business sponsorship of individual children is also available with your $100.00 donation. In the past, businesses with multiple employees have collected donations to reach this amount. The child selected to receive this donation will be told who the business is that sponsored them.

Please take the time to consider a contribution to this worthwhile cause, and know that each donation helps brighten the holiday season for one more child.
